Engaging 12,000+ employees globally in sustainability—from awareness to action.

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts set out to embed sustainability across its international hotel operations. To support this transformation, Superworld's Erik Rosin led the creative development of an internal engagement program—combining digital education with an interactive, workshop-based Dialogue format.

The aim was to turn sustainability from a corporate vision into local action—owned and driven by employees. Inspired by Scandic and Hilton’s pioneering work in the 90s and grounded in The Natural Step methodology, the program was co-created with sustainability expert Jan-Peter Bergkvist (SleepWell).

Erik co-led and co-designed the full process: from strategy, script, and concept for the e-learning, to the creation of learning material, facilitator tools, and a co-creative Dialogue workshop where employees identified challenges and designed solutions locally.

The program was launched in 21 hotels across Europe, engaging over 3,000 employees, and laid the foundation for Mövenpick’s Green Globe certification efforts. It later expanded to Africa and Asia, reaching an additional 9,000 employees.

A powerful example of how sustainability takes root when teams co-create solutions and take local ownership.
