Designing a report that makes sustainability visible, credible, and beautiful.
Åhléns is one of Sweden’s most recognized retail brands, with over 3,000 employees and 80 million annual visitors.
As part of its growing commitment to sustainability, the company releases an annual report showcasing progress and challenges across its operations—from supply chains and store efficiency to circularity and sustainable product development.
While at Futerra, Erik Rosin designed the report for three consecutive years—balancing editorial clarity with brand consistency. The goal was to make complex strategies and data accessible, while visually elevating Åhléns’ sustainability story to inspire internal and external stakeholders alike.
The layout combined strong photography, clear infographics, and a modular design system to guide readers through key stories, goals, and metrics. The result was a visually engaging report that informs, inspires, and aligns everyone from employees and suppliers to customers and partners.
